Om

I am a PhD candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering at NTNU. My academic background is in environmental engineering and chemical engineering, with a particular focus on membrane technology. My PhD research, part of the EU-funded WIDER UPTAKE project, aims to develop a roadmap for widespread implementation of water-smart symbiotic solutions for wastewater reuse and resource recovery. Specifically, I am working to create risk monitoring and control schemes to mitigate health and environmental risks associated with treated wastewater reuse and recovered products.

My supervisors are Associate Professor Cynthia Hallé from NTNU, and Kamal Azrague from SINTEF.

My research interests encompass circular economy, purification processes, resource recovery, and water and wastewater treatment.

WIDER UPTAKE

WIDER UPTAKE - aims to facilitate industrial symbiosis to increase resource efficiency, limit emissions and develop sustainable business models based on water-smart solutions.

B-WaterSmart

B-WaterSmart project aims to accelerate the transformation to water-smart economies and societies in coastal Europe and beyond by reducing the use of freshwater resources, improving the recovery and reuse of resources, and increase water use efficiency.
