CV
Hi there,

My name is Panagiotis Keramidis (you can call me Panos), and I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Computer Science (IDI), NTNU. Before joining NTNU, I did my PhD in Information Systems at Copenhagen Business School.

I am interested in organizational and interorganizational phenomena around Artificial Intelligence, and for my postdoc I am investigating the emerging capabilities of General-Purpose Artificial Intelligence and their implications for organizations and society. My research has primarily employed qualitative research methods, as well as futures studies methods.

Forskning

My research concerns organizational and interorganizational phenomena around Artificial Intelligence (AI). Partnerships around AI, the capabilities and risks associated with AI, changes in work practices brought about by AI, and the values that organizations and individuals seek to realize through AI are indicative of my interests in this area.

Beyond AI, I am interested in novel technological phenomena that have organizational and interorganizational implications. Agentic systems, low-code/no-code applications, and declarative business process modeling are among the technological settings that capture my interest, as they challenge established logics of organizing and working. Some of my work in this area examines how organizations strategize, learn, and form partnerships in response to such technologies.

I approach these research topics through a range of methodological approaches, primarily qualitative ones. Thematic analysis, discourse analysis, grounded theory techniques, and qualitative meta-analysis are among the approaches I have worked with. More recently, I have also engaged with futures studies methods, including strategic foresight.

These research topics and methodological approaches also inform my work as a reviewer, and I have reviewed for several Information Systems journals and conferences.

I am always happy to discuss research ideas, so feel free to reach out!
