  • Evertebraters kuldetilpasninger – hvordan kaldblodige organismer overlever temperaturer under kroppsvæskenes smeltepunkt.
  • Giftighet av gassen CO2 på store havdyp – Marine biologiske/fysiologiske effekter av lekkasje av flytende CO2 fra undersjøiske lagre.

Temaer som har inngått inkluderer nukleasjonsteori, Hofmeister-effekter, stoffers og gassers løselighet, Kelvin-effekten, løsningers kolligative egenskaper, osmose, elektrokjemiske gradienter.
