Om

Jeg jobber som forsker ved Institutt for tverrfaglige kulturstudier. Jeg er med i prosjektet 'A Middle Way? Probing Sufficiency through Meat and Milk in China'. Dette ERC prosjektet handler om å få en bedre forståelse av begrepet "sufficiency", der forbruk og produksjon av kjøtt og melk i Kina er et område vi undersøker.

Jeg jobbet med mange bevaringsprosjekter av verneverdige kulturminner som arkitekt og kulturarv arbeider i Kina fra 1996 til 2008. En tverrfaglig studie er et must for en klarere forståelse av kulturminnet og jeg har erfaring med de vitenskapelige metodene i sosiologi og sosialantropologi fra de tidlige stadiene av min karriere. Fra 2008 til 2018 gikk jeg på fakultetet for arkitektur og design ved Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet for min Ph.D. og andre akademiske prosjekter og undervisningsopplegg. Jeg tok doktorgraden på en transdisiplinær tilnærming til arkeologiske stedsmuseer, «A Multi-Perspective Observation of Site Museums» fra NTNU i 2018. Jeg er også «Conservation Dialogue»-spaltist for Community Design Journal, Tsinghua University, Kina.
