Our lab is at the forefront of advancing diagnostics and developing innovative treatments for rheumatologic diseases to improve the patient life.
Our research focuses on understanding the complexities of connective tissue disorders and exploring chondrocyte biology under pathological conditions. We are also working on fundamental research to have better undestanding on inflammatory processes.
While our primary focus is on osteoarthritis, we also investigate genetic diseases affecting the joints, with a special emphasis on Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.
