Waterpower laboratory
NTNU Waterpower Laboratory
NTNUs Waterpower Laboratory (WL) and Turbine Testing Laboratory (TTL) conducts research on and testing of turbines, pumps and related equipment.
The lab facilities include a closed and open loop circulation systems suitable for various experiment regarding pipe flow, pumps and turbines.
The main test-stand for testing Pelton, Francis and reversible pump turbines holds the high quality of the IEC60193 standard. More information at the Waterpower Laboratory's website.
Cooperation with Turbine Testing Lab (TTL) at Kathmandu University strengthen the capacity of the WL and TTL.
