Paper review criteria

  • The paper has to be relevant to BCRRA'21; if not, the paper should be rejected.
  • If the paper is published elsewhere, it should be rejected.
  • The abstract should concisely convey the meaning of the paper.
  • The paper should be well written and easy to understand.
  • The paper should be well organized and supported by understandable and useful tables, figures and references.
  • The objectives should be appropriate and clearly stated.
  • Previous work should be adequately described and properly referenced.
  • The methodology used should be technically sound and the data valid.
  • The conclusions in the paper should be appropriate, valid and properly supported.
  • The content of the paper should be new or original and deal with issues that are timely.
  • Based on these criteria, the reviewer should indicate whether the paper should be accepted as it is, accepted with minor or possibly major changes, or rejected.

Comments on the review form should indicate more in detail if the criteria are met or not.
