Courses

Due to the Corona-situation all remaining courses in English will be held as web courses. Check out each course for more details.

We offer courses in English on PubMed and EndNote, as well as courses in information skills and academic writing for  PhD candidates and researchers. The courses are open for students and staff at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and St.Olavs Hospital. All the courses are held in KS21, 2nd floor at the Knowledge Center at St. Olavs Hospital

Courses in English Spring 2020:

The library is in charge of the new PhD-course MH8000 – Literature review and academic writing for PhD students in medicine and health sciences (5 study points) Spring 2020. Due to the Corona-situation this course will be offered as a web course.

Information skills training for PhD
Participants: This training course is intended for PhD-students, research students in medicine (Forskerlinja) and researchers in medicine and health sciences.

EndNote for Medicine and Health Sciences
Participants: Master students, PhD/researchers and staff at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and St. Olavs Hospital  who needs a reference management system when publishing papers and other manuscripts.

22.04.20 (9-12) THIS COURSE WILL BE ARRANGED AS A WEB COURSE
Literature searching in PubMed – A comprehensive introduction
Participants: Researchers, PhD-students, physicians, hospital and faculty staff and master students who wants to learn to search for literature within medicine and health in an effective way.
