Norsk epidemiologi

Tidsskriftet Norsk epidemiologi utgis av Norsk forening for epidemiologi. Tidsskriftet kommer vanligvis med to regulære numre i året, der de fleste artiklene er innen et emne eller problemområde bestemt på forhånd. I tillegg kommer et årlig supplementnummer med sammendrag fra foreningens årlige konferanse, samt et varierende antall supplementnumre med doktorgradsavhandlinger. Tidsskriftets hovedmålgruppe er det generelle helsefaglige miljøet i Norge. Hovedformålet med temanumrene er å gi gode oversikter over status på aktuelle fagområder og også over hvilke fagmiljøer i Norge som arbeider innen disse områdene. Artiklene i tidsskriftet ligger generelt på et høyt faglig nivå og er skrevet av ledende personer innen de aktuelle fagfeltene i Norge. Styret vedtar temaene i tidsskriftet og utnevner gjesteredaktører. Alle medlemmer kan foreslå tema og redaktører.
