Are you a recent graduate from an engineering school or a technical university? Are you looking for experience in an international energy company and willing to tackle new challenges? Our E&P Graduate Program is just right for you! 

 

Support TotalEnergies’ transition with our E&P Graduate Program  

The program will start 1st of October 2024, you will be hired at TotalEnergies EP Norge AS on a permanent contract. 

During the 2-to-2,5-year program, you will firstly join our affiliate in Norway to anchor your career within a local context, and after approximately 1 year you will undertake your first mission with an exchange to the OneTech Branch in France. It gives you the opportunity to strengthen your technical, scientific, and organizational knowledge, develop your competencies and discover how the Company operates in various energy domains.  

Furthermore, the program is seeking to expand your network through various work experiences, a global graduate network, which will all prepare you for a career within TotalEnergies! 

 

TotalEnergies in Norway  

TotalEnergies has been present in Norway since 1965 and was one of the pioneers at the very beginning of Norwegian petroleum exploration and production. We are committed to the Norwegian continental shelf and continue to explore for and produce petroleum as well as focusing on energy production with the renewables sector. 

In Norway, TotalEnergies has a daily production of around 250,000 boe/d from a varied portfolio consisting of among other Ekofisk, Johan Sverdrup, Troll, Oseberg, Åsgard and Snøhvit. The company has approximately 110 employees working in Norway, including secondees in Northern Lights developing the world’s first open-source CO2 transport and storage infrastructure.

How could your journey look like?  

Over 2 to 2,5 exciting years, you will rotate across 2 to 3 departments, where you will gain knowledge about how we operate as a company and be exposed to a broad range of activities preparing you to grow your career within Development and Carbon Footprint reductions domains. 

The rotations will take place in key business functions: Project development and facilities as well as Carbon Footprint reduction. 

As part of the program, one of the rotations will be completed in France where you will also get the opportunity to develop your intercultural communication skills! 

The rotations will consist of a blend of Oil & Gas, LNG and renewable projects. This is undeniably a unique opportunity to experience an enriching multi-energies journey!

What do I need to apply?  

  • You hold a master’s degree in Energy and Engineering related subjects, or MSc related to Upstream Oil & Gas (process, mechanical, operations) - within the last 3 years; 

  • An interest in energy and carbon footprint reduction as reflected in your internships or academic work; 

  • The will to take part in technical challenges and problem-solving; 

  • Curiosity, inventiveness and an open mind; 

  • A strong interest in an international career and changing environment; 

  • Fluency in English. 

 

And what’s next?  

  • Applications will remain open until 15th of May 2024. Should you be selected for Round 1, you will then be notified by the end of May 2024. 

  • The interview process may involve several discussions with business managers and HR, remotely or onsite. More details will be provided in due course! 

  • Successful applicants will join the program on October 1st, 2024.
