TIND Asset Management is a partner-owned management organization with a long-term investment profile, focusing on small and medium-sized companies in the Nordic region.

 

We are seeking an ambitious Operations Manager with the potential to grow into a leadership role as Chief Operating Officer (COO). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the operational and administrative functions run smoothly and efficiently, while demonstrating leadership potential and the ability to drive the strategic development of the organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and coordinate daily operations and administrative activities for the fund and management organization.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity in all operational processes, including trade settlement, liquidity management, and reporting.
  • Manage relationships with external service providers such as administrators, prime brokers, and auditors.
  • Develop and implement efficient procedures and guidelines to improve operational efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and business development, focusing on strengthening the hedge fund's operational platform.

 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in economics, finance, IT, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in hedge fund administration and understanding of financial markets is a positive, but not required.
  • Knowledge of securities trading, liquidity management, and risk management is a positive, but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across different teams and functions.

 

Personal qualities:

  • Accurate and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Efficient in problem solving and possessing strong quantitative skills.
  • Independent and proactive with a willingness to take initiative.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Discreet and reliable with regards to confidentiality and sensitive information.

 

Workplace and working hours

The position is based at our office in Oslo (Fridtjof Nansens Plass 5) and will involve collaboration with team members locally as well as all our suppliers and investors internationally.

Normal working hours usually follow industry standards, but flexibility may be necessary to handle special situations or events. The position also allows for a high degree of flexibility.
