Your new role

As a Student Assistant Simulation Consultant, your primary role involves developing expertise in the Flexsim simulation software, utilizing these skills to analyze projects, and providing consultations to clients. Additionally, you will engage in tasks related to Logistics, Factory Planning, and Industrial Engineering. Key responsibilities include:

  • Development of simulation competencies, building simulation models to assess complex systems. 
  • Consultation of clients regarding logistics, automation & supply chain projects
  • Communication with stakeholders and preparation of presentations

The role will be approximately 20 hours a week, but hours will be flexible to work around your studies. This role can lead to graduate employment.

 

You and your competencies

A master’s degree student in Industrial Engineering, INDØK, Business Analytics, Logistics or a related field is essential. The ability to excel in this role is supported by:

 

  • Strong analytical abilities and a comfort level with data handling. 
  • Experience in simulation software such as FlexSim, AnyLogic, Arena or similar.
  • A keen interest in simulation within logistics and programming experience, preferably in C++.
  • Fluency in English and, ideally, a Scandinavian language.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint).
  • A willingness to learn new skills.

Our department consists of 15 dedicated colleagues across Scandinavia, working collaboratively on team-based projects. We specialize in layout planning for hospital logistics and manufacturing industries, with a focus on automation and innovation.
