CoolCo is experiencing increased activity and we are looking to recruit a Junior Vessel Manager to our fleet of FSRU / LNG carriers. The position is based in Oslo.
As a Junior Vessel Manager, you will
- Be an integrated part of our technical team.
- Support our Vessel Managers with ad-hoc tasks and initiatives/projects related to the fleet.
- Participate in dry docking of our ships, supporting Vessel manager.
- Support the Fleet manager with fleet and project data analysis.
You will be trained to become a Vessel Manager for the management of your own assigned vessels (1-3 ships).
Qualifications
You should be an engineer with a MSc degree. Some seagoing experience could be an advantage, but this is not a must. You could also have a background as first or second engineer, deck officer, or as engineer with machine and operational experience.
Furthermore, you are expected to be:
- Eager to learn.
- Flexible and able to travel (as part of the training you should also expect a 1-2 month sailing period).
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Systematic and structured.
- Socially adaptive.
