Abstract

The covid pandemic introduced remote interpreting on a broad scale. Through AI and machine translation solutions interpreters and interpreter teachers and students have been introduced to a range of new tools, which can be both a blessing and a curse. Interpreting agencies have access to tools and algorithms for booking interpreters. All these changes, each one of them disrupting, has given us a whole new landscape. In this issue contributors take different approaches to the new era.
