• Pressure relief analysis techniques, definition and evaluation of relief scenario for pressure relief valves and actual safety valve sizing calculations, vapor depressurization/blow down, safety valve sizing and selection for single and two phase flow scenarios;
• Flare design and simulations, flare header sizing and simulation by ASPEN FLARE ANALYZER, flare system calculation, flare radiation study, stack height sizing by FLARESIM, preparing process data sheet for flare equipment, preparing PFD for flare system, flare unit P&ID, flare interconnecting P&ID, knock out drum sizing, seal drum sizing, pump sizing, design and preparing PID for burn pit system;
• Providing HAZID, HAZOP and SIL procedures, taking part in the related meetings and preparing reports;
• Environmental studies, liquid effluents drainage systems;
• Preparing technical specification and requisition for active/passive firefighting/safety concepts, including safety & environmental, fire-fighting and personnel protection, fire & gas detection (areas & buildings), hazardous area classification, escape route/safety sign, fire proofing, gas dispersion and consequence modeling, and providing technical bid evaluation and vendor follow-up;
• Safety studies including risk analysis and consequence modeling, dispersion/leak modeling, fire zone study;
• Active/passive firefighting calculation, foam calculation, fire water demand, performing fire water hydraulic analysis including fire water ring main & network, deluge network and spray/sprinkler systems, surge analysis for fire water network, transient hydraulic calculation for fire water network;
• Developing active/passive firefighting/safety layouts and drawings specifically fire water and foam PFDs/PIDs, main fire water ring P&ID, spray/sprinkler system PFDs/P&IDs, fire water tank & pump PFDs/PIDs, deluge arrangement and P&ID, hazardous area classification schedule and drawing, fire and gas detection and F&G cause & effect diagram, fire potential area and fire proofing layout, fire zone study, escape route and safety sign layout;
• Preparing firefighting/Safety equipment datasheets;
• Total flooding system design including CO2 extinguishing system, clean agent system and powder extinguishing system;
• Acoustic designs, noise protection control, noise map, noise limit calculations.
