Don't be blinded by pretty appearances. Learning design is what counts!

Abstract

“Don't go bananas” has been the slogan when UiT started giving teachers access to a new graphic design tool, DesignPlus. This is because it is easy to fall into the trap of thinking that attractive content pages in Canvas will automatically increase students' learning outcomes. Of course, use DesignPlus for what it's worth, but it's the underlying structures and good learning design that provide increased benefits. That said, we want to show how highlighted features and templates in DesignPlus try to support learning design and pedagogy at UiT.
