This wiki contains support material for our research methods courses IT3010, TDT39 and DT8111 (PhD).

The courses evolve around some learning objectives as shown in the figure below. We intend to have one learning module for each learning objective. The links to the learning modules are provided in the menu to the left.

Note that if you are taking one of these courses at NTNU there will be other material provided through our learning management system.

How to use this wiki for self-study

This wiki is organized around four learning modules that we also use in IT3010 and DT8111. Each learning module has a menu item in the left-side menu. By clicking on the menu item you will be able to dig into more details and access online resources about the topic.

Each wiki page is divided into two parts. The introductory material section is a list of must-read/watch resources. These are also part of the course syllabus for our courses. The Further reading section takes you to more in-depth resources that discuss various aspects of the topic.
