Gunneria og Miscellanea

Skriftserien Gunneria blir utgitt av NTNU Vitenskapsmuseet. Serien startet i 1971 under navnet "Det Kgl. Norske Videnskabers Selskab, Muséet, Miscellanea". I 1976 (f.o.m. nr. 26) ble navnet endret fra Miscellanea til Gunneria.

Gunneria trykker vanligvis originalarbeider med tilknytning til NTNU Vitenskapsmuseets ansvarsområde og fagområder, dvs. arkeologi, kulturhistorie, botanikk og zoologi. Serien er ikke periodisk, og antall nummer per år varierer.

Navnet Gunneria er til minne om Johan Ernst Gunnerus (1718–73), en av stifterne av Det Kongelige Norske Videnskabers Selskab, professor i teologi ved universitetet i København, biskop i Trondheim fra 1758, Vice Præces og Director Perpetuus i Selskabet fra 1767 til 1773, vitenskapsmann med grunnleggende forskning innenfor zoologi og med viktige botaniske publikasjoner ("Flora Norvegica I-II").

Som språk brukes engelsk eller norsk, unntaksvis også andre språk. Når hovedspråket ikke er engelsk, blir tittelen, sammendraget, tabelloverskriftene og figurtekstene også trykt på engelsk.

Gunneriaserien planlegges avviklet.
