Chirag Trivedi

I joined the NTNU during July 2020 as an Associate Professor. I specialize in the field of hydropower, hydraulic turbines and pumps, and conducting research at the Waterpower Laboratory located at Gløshaugen campus. After earning my PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology (in collaboration with Luleå University of Technology), I began my research career at NTNU as a Postdoctoral Fellow, later Senior Researcher. Before starting my tenure at NTNU in 2020, I served as a Senior Design Engineer at Rainpower AS (Presently, Aker Solutions), where I was responsible for the design and model testing of hydraulic turbines.

Currently, I am involved in education, teaching various courses from a basic course for the first semester students to the advanced course for the eighth semester students. I am also responsible for supervising and guiding master's thesis, doctoral candidates and Postdoctoral Fellows. Additionally, I am involved in several research projects at different levels.
