Les norske og internasjonale aviser via PressReader

NTNU Universitetsbiblioteket har abonnement på avisdatabasen PRESSREADER (LIBRARY PRESSDISPLAY). Her kan du finne et stort utvalg dagsferske norske og internasjonale aviser. Blant de norske er bl.a. Dagbladet, Aftenposten, Stavanger Aftenblad og Fædrelandsvennen, i tillegg til en god del lokalaviser.

Av internasjonale aviser kan man nevne bl.a. The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph og El Pais. Totalt inneholder PRESSREADER over 7000 ulike aviser og magasiner fra en rekke ulike land.

PRESSREADER kan søkes opp via Oria > Finn databaser.

Du må være på campus eller pålogget via VPN for å kunne benytte tjenesten.

NTNU Universitetsbiblioteket har nettopp anskaffet databasen/arkivet Eighteenth Century Drama: Censorship, Society and the Stage

The documents in Eighteenth Century Drama: Censorship, Society and the Stage have been indexed by key themes. When applying themes to the Larpent plays specifically, the first five themes listed are intended to contextualise the plays, whereas the final nine themes often relate to the content of the play. Nature and Scope:

Delve into the theatrical world of eighteenth century society and explore how the Larpent plays reflect the politics of the time, the role of women, views on race and religion, opinions on empire, and European and British history.

Eighteenth Century Drama features three distinct areas:

  • Primary source documents; the focus of which is the Larpent collection of plays and Anna Larpent’s Diaries
  • The London Stage Database; and
  • The Biographical Dictionary Database

Performing Arts Periodicals Database (International Index to Performing Arts) – en nyttig artikkeldatabase for de estetiske fagene

I denne databasen finner du artikler i fulltekst fra 160 sentrale tidsskrifter innen teater, drama, film, kunst (spesielt innen performance), radio, fjernsyn, dans og musikk. Blant de aktuelle tidsskriftene er  American Theatre, Theatre Journal, Theatre Survey, og Film & History.

Når det gjelder f.eks. Film & History, har vi artikler i fulltekst fra 1971 til i dag.

I tillegg finner du bibliografiske opplysninger om artikler fra ca 400 tidsskrifter.

Når du skal finne litteratur innen ditt emne kan du velge å søke etter fagfellevurderte artikler. Da må du i så fall krysse av for dette. I denne databasen kan du nemlig også finne artikler som ikke er fagfellevurderte – dvs. artikler fra populærvitenskapelige magasiner, bransjetidsskrifter, aviser m.m. Men av og til har man jo bruk for det også!

De fleste artiklene er publisert på engelsk, men det finnes også noe på fransk, tysk, portugisisk og spansk.
