Some of our friends at Troll Labs have been lecturing the course TMM4150 - Machine Design and Mechatronics. A course looking at sensors, controllers, and actuators, as well as the mechanical parts of building the robots.

The arena the map had to conquer. Four different types of environments to get past.
The robot was controlled from inside a room without a direct view of the robot. There was some time delay.

Students of the TDT4295 - Computer Design Project course used the MakerSpace to build parts for the robot they developed as their project. The project is also called DM-Pro or Datamaskinprosjektet.

During the course, the students developed their own circuits boards and built a complete system of very basic parts.
"The use of the makerspace was important for our project, as being able to print parts made the robot construction much simpler. It saved us a lot of time! It helped us have quick iterations, and the space the makerspace provided us with allowed us to work more efficently, with some working on the physical parts while other had space to work on the other parts of the project." - Sebastian

Dag is a scout leader in Charlottenlund Speidergruppe. The group wanted to make a micro controller badge. Dag was involved in making the lesson and providing the equipment from the SCIL maker space.
The scouts worked on a two part project were they first made a LED blink then added a button to control the light. As a extra task some of the scouts tried to use the arduinos to send messages with morse by making them blink.
