- Lectures: There are no mandatory lectures in this course. You self-study the book and deliver your research proposal. We might organize some workshops and feedback meetings. Follow these pages and join the course Teams.
- Textbook: Researching Information Systems and Computing by Briony J Oates, Marie Griffiths and Rachel McLean (2022). All the book is interesting but you can focus on the parts that have to do with your deliverable.
- Exercises/deliverables: There is one exercise in the course, the research proposal, that will count for 100% of the final grade. See this page for more information in this exercise.
- Exam: There will be no oral or written exam in the course. The research plan you deliver will count for 100% of the final grade. If you have problems delivering a research plan please contact the teacher ASAP. Please follow these instructions in order to avoid invalidating your submission:
- Deadline for delivery: November 29, at 16.00 CEST (Trondheim time).
- Create a PDF version of your plan and name the file YourLastName_YourFirstName.pdf (e.g. Norman_Ola.pdf).
- Send the PDF file to the course email address.
- NB: Send the email from your stud.ntnu.no account and not from other private accounts.
- Registering to the course: The course teacher is not responsible for registering you to the course. You have to self-register.
- Prerequisite: The course assumes you have some background in IT or related fields. There are no additional requirements. Note that if you have already taken IT3010 you cannot take this course!
