The NTNU university library image collection is a large collection of historical images mainly from photographers from the region around Trondheim. The collection grows constantly and as such the collection is not fully catalogued.
We provide the metadata for the collection for download so that our collection can be discovered from other systems. The data presented here is designed to be used by other libraries and service providers; users who are interested in searching for particular images for personal are probably better served using the Gallery application.

NTNU university library provides image collection metadata — in common with all other open data sets from NTNU university library — under the Open Data Commons Public Domain Dedication License (ODC-PDDL). The metadata is available in a number of forms:
Zipped BILDEMARCThe zip archive contains licence information, data structure description and the data itself.
The data may be retrieved by requesting the current URI with an accept header application/zip, or by manual download.
Bulk RDF[Not currently available]
We provide an RDF representation of the data in RDF/XML for those using semantic technologies. The data is better structured and more comprehensive than the data in BILDEMARC.
The data can be retrieved by requesting the current URI with an accept header application/rdf+xml.
RDF[Not currently available]
Records can be requested individually by appending a slash and the unique identifier for an image to the current URI, and adding Accept: rdf+xml to the header.
