Do come in. The door is open to the full-scale laboratory at the Faculty of Architecture in Trondheim. Here you will find examples of our activities, student exercises as well as experiments.
The current situation in the laboratory is represented by an exercise which deals with light and form in the context of an exhibition. Eight solutions of the exercise demonstrate the possibilities of building methods, and they illustrate the various ways in which an architectural problem can be approached and resolved.
A door is also opened back to the sixties.
Full-scale building is great fun. It is a thrilling experience to see the realization of an idea, discussing it and finding alternatives. It is exciting to walk through the space that some hours ago was a flat sheet of paper. This, the revelation of an idea realized in three dimensions, is of incalculable importance in the initial stages of studying architecture.
