In order to reduce the length of the room, the walls have been constructed to give the impression of a sequence of smaller areas. When we consider how many times a day we pass through a corridor, it is important to reduce the perception of length, to help our inner selves, that are always suffering from impatience. Light is used to accentuate height in each of the areas.

The walls are divided into several smaller elements to let the light be led out between them. We perceive the pattern of light and shadow as in a forest. The effect of contrast in colour and the use of shadow cooperate to make the corridor more alive and stimulating to the mind.
