La petite Maison designed by
      Le Corbusier for his parents.
The horizontal opening is related to the internal spaces and to the site. (Lake Leman)
Linking the rooms, the long window has a remarkable expanding effect on the limited area. As a contrast, the square opening on the opposite wall manifests the smallness of scale and closes the corner.

The expression of order is enriched by the dialogue between openings and walls defining the living room. The positive/negative interplay is clearly conceived in the simplified version in the laboratory.
