Demonstrating how form and behaviour interrelate, the exercise focuses on expectation and surprise as essential factors in the sequence. Furthermore it is an introduction to the use of light in defining form - both spatial form and the form of the objects. The exercise is also a study of the interplay of space and object, and of spatial relationships.
