Apollo 17 and Beyond

Price/pris: Festival pass required
Time/tid:    16:00

The Apollo 17 mission to the deep mountain valley of Taurus-Littrow remains the last direct exploration of the Moon by humans. The observations, photographs and samples from that mission relate to many questions concerning the origin of the Moon, formation of continental scale basins on terrestrial planets, evolution of the lunar mantle, volcanic eruptions, and surface modifications over 3.8 billion years.

Apollo 17, along with the other Apollo mission, set the stage for future lunar exploration, lunar resources utilization, and, eventually, exploration of the Martian surface.
