Two employees at the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (Faculty of Engineering) at NTNU in Trondheim have been charged with a data breach and are also being investigated for unregulated research that may be in violation of export control laws.
Researchers have worked on the idea of snake robots for more than 30 years, but the greatest breakthrough so far was done by key scientist at NTNU AMOS Professor Kristin Ytterstad Pettersen and her colleagues. In recognition of this work, Pettersen has been awarded the Bode Lecture Prize.
Professor Dennis Meier and the research team he leads will create the world's smallest electronic network. Dennis Meier has been awarded the ERC Consolidator Grant to conduct this research.
