SFU Engage is seeking a motivated and talented Student Assistant to join our team from June 2025. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing our website and will work closely with a dynamic team.
Our ambition is to increase the number of students in Norway and around the world with entrepreneurial skills and the mindset to become change agents for the better (engage-centre.no). Engage Resource engage-resources.no collaborates with various study programs to offer instructors resources that can be used in their own teaching, enabling their students to become better change agents.

Responsibilities:
Main role responsibilities:

Create, co-create, complete, format and upload resources such as videos, teaching exercises, workshop tools and others to the resource hub.

Follow up with educators on resources they provide – collaborate with them to publish these resources.

Assist in the development and maintenance of the Engage Resource Hub website. Part of the role, but not main role responsibility:

Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features.

Further develop and design the existing resource hub in accordance with end user requirements.

Provide technical support on the resource hub.

Strategic planning in team processes.
Qualifications:

Enrolled in a relevant degree program.

Strong oral and written English language skills.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.

Basic understanding of web development.
Preferred but not mandatory:
-
Familiarity with no-code webpage platforms like WordPress or similar.

Flexible work hours - we have biweekly meetings, but you are free to choose when you work in between. Sprint plans and semester goals are co-created. Estimated workload up to 100 hours a semester.
