We are looking for new ambitious talent to grow our cyber security unit

We are expanding our capacity and competence in cyber security by hiring more evaluators and penetration testers. The Nemko Group aquired System Sikkerhet AS in February 2020 as part of our growth strategy and we continue to grow our capacity within the field. We are looking for new colleagues that are motivated by developing and growing our new services.

Responsibility and areas of work:

• Penetration testing of products, systems and software
• Conduct cyber security evaluations of products within other cyber certification schemes

Qualifications:

• Higher relevant education in computer science, including formal / real competence in program development
• Candidates with relevant working experience within cyber security, but without formal background educational will also be considered

Experience:

• It is advantageous to have konwledge of system development and architecture, as well as network design
• It is an advantage with experience in one or more of:
  • Pentest tools like Burp Suite, Metasploit and nmap,
  • Programming language(s): Windows, Linux and Unix operating systems
  • Security systems like firewalls and IPS/IDS
• Certifications wanted, but not required (GPEN, CEH, OSCP, PenTest+ or other Pentest/IT security related certifications)
• Knowledge of and interest in IT and information security
• Strong English communication skills (The Nemko administrative and technical language is English)

Job requirements:

• As pen-tester it is important understand functionalities and how to expose possible vulnerabilities in products, software and systems.
• An evaluator must be able to understand the functionality of products and how it inter-operates with other systems. A part of the job will be examining system and design documentation to verify whether given requirements for a system or a product are met. The evaluation will also to a certain extent include examination of software.
• The work both requires interest in working with clients and colleagues in small teams, as well being able to structure own time doing independent work.
