How to apply

The Greenpact product family consists of analytical data and modelling tools which tracks emissions for a number of industrial market segments. The quantitative tools are designed to support the important decisions-making process of any stakeholder to assess the potential ESG (environment, social and governance) impact. We have just launched Greenpact Rigs and coming next are the first Ships and Wind modules.

As one of our Junior Researchers, you will search for and collect technical and market information from a variety of available sources. The data needs to be put into some context for further processing in our applications, and it could be that you will help mine the data, too, to extract value directly. The working time is part time and flexible, and we think it is perfect to do this while studying to get an extra income. You will be followed up by one of our employees, of course.

Why become an Esgian?

We offer a challenging and exciting opportunity to make an impact on the green transition of the Ocean Industries. You will get a good idea of how it is to work in a small, dynamic team in a growing international company, and you will learn that we have an open and inclusive work environment. And maybe you can join our ride at some point?

As a person, you are energetic and creative, and you master digital technologies well. It is important that you are systematic, precise and pay attention to details. Since you will probably work outside normal working hours, you need have a strong inner motivation and be self-driven.

We believe you are meant for this job if you are attending a college or university where you pursue a degree within engineering, science or ocean industries and are looking for a part-time job within technology and green transition. Your resume could contain many different topics, but you need to be good at searching for relevant information and organising it. You also need to be quite good with computers, and if you are into computer science, it will be a benefit for you and us.

Main responsibilities:

  • Collect relevant market and technical information for our current and future products
  • Organise the data for further processing
  • Data mining

Location: Oslo is preferable, but may be flexible for the right candidate.
