Do you dream of a meaningful job within development or humanitarian work? Join the International Career Day at NTNU Dragvoll on October 16th to learn about international career opportunities within the UN system!
On this day, The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and NTNU Bridge invite a number of UN organizations to NTNU Dragvoll. Throughout the day, the UN organizations will be presented, and you will learn about international career opportunities within the UN system, how to apply for a job in this system, how a typical interview for such a job can look like, and much more.
In addition to the UN organizations, you will also meet the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, NTNU Bridge, NTNU Career and several other organizations and services relevant to the field of development and humanitarian work.
Participating UN organizations:
The UN Secretariat, the UN Development Programme (UNDP), the UN Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UNWOMEN), the UN Population Fund (UNFPA), the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF), the World Food Programme (WFP), the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and the UN Volunteers (UNV). In addition, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is also coming.
Other participating organizations:
The Norwegian People's Aid (Norsk Folkehjelp), the Norwegian Red Cross (Røde Kors), Engineers Without Boarders Norway (Ingeniører Uten Grenser), and also NTNU’s own Office of International Relations (Internasjonal Seksjon), the UN Students (FN-studentene), STØH Aid, and the Career Day at Dragvoll (KDD).

10:00-14:00:
- Stands with all invited organizations and services (“Gata”, NTNU Dragvoll).
- Drop-in for feedback on your CV and job application with NTNU Career (Auditorium D112, NTNU Dragvoll).
12:15-12:45:
- Presentation about exchange and to study abroad, by the Office of International Relations (Auditorium D6, NTNU Dragvoll).
14:00-16:00:
- Presentations of UN organizations, international career opportunities, how to apply for a job, and how a typical interview for a job in the UN system can look like (Auditorium D10, NTNU Dragvoll).
- Presentations about some exiting upcoming events at NTNU the next semester, by the UN Students and the Career Day at Dragvoll (Auditorium D10, NTNU Dragvoll).
