World Sepsis Day: Breakfast meeting in the library

Gemini Centre for Sepsis Research invites you to a breakfast meeting on World Sepsis Day 13. September at the Medicine and Health Library in Trondheim.

Sepsis is the most preventable cause of death world-wide. In Norway it’s estimated that 4 000 people die each year from sepsis. Sepsis can be prevented by vaccination and sanitation measures such as clean health care facilities, clean water and clean deliveries. But most important, sepsis is effectively prevented by awareness. 80% of sepsis cases begin outside the hospital, but do you know the signs of sepsis?
