The University library is prepared for the situation. Researchers continue to have the right to submit articles for publication.
Update: NTNU has reached an agreement with Elsevier (23.04.19)
Since summer 2018, there has been ongoing negotiations with the publishers Elsevier, Springer Nature, Wiley and Taylor&Francis. UNIT negotiates based on the Government’s national goals and guidelines for open access to research results.
Clarification: The agreement with Elsevier concerns scientific journals in the e-journal package ScienceDirect Freedom Collection. E-books and other services are not affected. NTNU has archive access to some journals, in other words articles published before 2019.

Notice that you have to use Google Chrome in order to activate plugins such as Unpaywall and Open Access Button.
To avoid technical problems with access we recommend that you always use Chrome when searching for academic articles.
