ELSA Norway network was established at a conference held in Oslo December 2012 followed by the ELSA Norway network project 2013-2014 financed by the Research Council of Norway. The Network received renewed funding for the period 2015- 2018. The objective of the project is to coordinate a research network by running this ELSA Norway web portal and arranging biannual network conferences.
