In January 2018 our first students from NORPART-project will arrive from Ghana to Trondheim and Department of historical studies.
I wonder how their first meeting with Trondheim will be, especially if this is what they will meet the first day:

Well NORPART is a nice initiative because it has provided a wonderful opportunity for me to learn in a different but welcoming environment away from home
I’m excited about the program. My first day in Trondheim was my coldest day ever. However, I have lived by the Norwegian saying that I learnt during orientation which translates; ” There is nothing as bad weather but bad clothing”. The reception has been very warm so far. From the department to the shopkeeper, everybody is nice. I’m enjoying my stay.
It is a great and wonderful opportunity given to me by NORPART to study at NTNU-Trondheim, Norway. My dream had always been studying outside my home country and through NORPART my dream has come to pass. I am really enjoying the program at NTNU. Norwegians are nice and welcoming people. Good facilities at NTNU as well as expert and quality tutors. Thank you once again NORPART for this great initiative.
It is a great and wonderful opportunity given to me by NORPART to study at NTNU-Trondheim, Norway. The NORPART programme is an excellent idea to learn about other cultures, and possibly adapt better ways of doing things. Access to academic resources and the conducive environment to learn in are two of my most cherished experiences at NTNU. I am glad to be here each passing day and hope to come back sometime after this project.
