At GE Vingmed the visit focused on Vscan development, probe technology and image quality research and development. Very inspiring to hear about how a world leading company is developing further. Medistim have their probe production in Horten, and fantastic to see the assembly line of probes used for intra-operative ultrasound flow monitoring in open heart coronary bypass surgery. The probes can be sterilized and re-used up to 50 times.
