The critical discussion of the tools and their implementation is a cross-cutting theme throughout the book.
Central to this book is the CapSEM Model<\/strong>, which presents an analytical toolbox across four distinct levels:
Process, Product, Organizational & Systems. The model comprises a systematized methodology of assessment and management tools for sustainability and environmental management. It offers to
streamline applications for the business sector and industry.

The editer Dr. Annik Magerholm Fet<\/strong> is former Vice Rector of NTNU in \u00c5lesund and former Director and Academic Head of NTNU’s strategic research area on Sustainability. She has been a Professor of Environmental Management, Systems Engineering and Lifecycle Analysis at the Department of Industrial Economics and Technology Management at NTNU since 1999, and now holds a similar affiliation in the Department of International Business. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


The book represents the multi-disciplined collaboration at NTNU and beyond, exemplifying its use in a wealth of business sectors and a range of stakeholders from construction to textiles to wind power as outlined in the European Circular Action Plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
