Bakgrunn og aktiviteter
My research aims for a better understanding of the urban wind resource for the potential placement of small wind turbines. This is to be achieved by producing relevant experimental data characterizing the flow around buildings and measuring the performance of model wind turbines. Flow measurements are conducted employing particle image velocimetry (PIV), laser doppler velocimetry (LDV) and constant temperature anemometry (CTA).
