Jeg forsker på hvorfor enkelte bakterier gir alvorlig sykdom mens andre kun gir mild eller ingen sykdom, hovedsaklig med fokus på blodstrømsinfeksjon og sepsis forårsaket av gruppe B streptokokker, Staphylococcus aureus og Escherichia coli (se www.sepsis.no).
