David Andreas Bell

David Andreas Bell is an associate professor at the Department for Social Work at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
His research interests broadly concern immigration and the public's perception of immigration. This includes welfare chauvinism, public opinion on immigration, discrimination and social inequality. His work has mainly been quantitative with a particular focus on public opinion on immigration in both Western and Eastern Europe.
His work has been published in respected academic journals such as European Societes, Journal of European Social Policy, and Comparative Migration Studies.
He attained his ph.d in social sciences from NTNU in 2023.
