I løpet av mine doktorgradsstudier vil jeg undersøke digitalt adaptive gate-drivere for moderne Silicon Carbide (SiC) MOSFETs for bruk i mellomspennings-applikasjoner, og hvordan man kan bruke slike drivere for manipulering og optimering av svitsjeprosesser. Veilederen min er Dimosthenis Peftitsis.
Jeg kommer fra Tyskland og har fullført mastergrad (M. Sc.) fra universitetet RWTH Aachen. Hovedtemaet i masterarbeidet mitt var utvikling og realisering av en quasi-resonant DC/DC omformer for bruk i lavspennings-applikasjoner.
Mine viktigste akademiske milepæler:
2016 - Bachelorgrad (B. Sc.) i elektroteknikk, informasjonsteknologi og teknisk informatikk (RWTH Aachen) med spesialisering i elektrisk kraftteknikk.
2017 – Erasmus-semester ved Linköpings Universitet, Sverige
2018 - Praksisopphold (Research and Development) ved Advanced Technology Research and Development Center of Mitsubishi Electric, Amagasaki, Japan
2019 – Mastergrad (M. Sc.) i elektroteknikk, informasjonsteknologi og teknisk informatikk (RWTH Aachen) med spesialisering i elektrisk kraftteknikk.
2020 – Doktorgradsstipendiat ved NTNU
Arbeidet mitt på NTNU vil inkludere både simuleringer og realisering av gate-driverkonsepter. Oppgavene vil derfor inkludere alt fra SPICE modellering, simuleringer og simuleringsautomatisering til gjennomføring av eksperimenter i laboratorium.
Interessene mine er sentrert rundt Matlab, Python, C og C++ programmering, SiC MOSFETs (statiske og dynamiske egenskaper, samt påvirkning av usikkerheter grunnet produksjon eller aldring av komponenter), modellering av SiC MOSFETs, gate-driver metoder, manipulering av svitsjeprosesser og avansert måleteknikk.
På fritiden min elsker jeg å gå på tur i naturen, vandre og sykle, gjerne med amatørradio-utstyret (LB8HI) eller kameraet mitt. Jeg spiller også piano.
