Archaeometry
The Museum's Laboratory is the only one in Norway conducting age determination of archaeological and natural scientific samples of organic material.
The datings are based on accelerator-based mass spectrometric measuring (AMS measuring) of radioactive carbon (14C). The laboratory accepts both granted and paid commissions.
