You will get information about where the book, video, CD, etc. is placed in each library by clicking on the title of the document. Books are arranged according to subject. Within subjects they are placed according to author or title.

This is a detail example of where you can find a book:

If the book is on loan, you can reserve it by using the function “Order loan”. Your name will be put on a waiting list. We will notify you (by e-mail or text message) when you can pick up the book. If the book is available from other NTNU University Library departments, you also use the function “Order loan”.

If NTNU University Library does not own the book, we can borrow it from another library. Use the same function as when you reserve books “Order loan”. The library can also borrow books from libraries outside the BIBSYS cooperation. This type of borrowing is free for students. The number of books you can borrow at any time from other libraries varies between NTNU University Library's departments.
