You will find articles in books, journals and newspapers, both in printed and electronic formats.

Articles in academic journals and books focus in detail on one specific topic or problem:

• They are usually written by researchers and quality controlled by other experts in the same field
• They are regarded as more “scientific” or academically based than most articles in magazines

Use articles to find:

• both recent and older information about your topic
• references to other relevant research
