JAN OVES HULE
Together with the producers of a popular science show for children named Newton (which airs on NRK1 - Norwegian Public TV), I have made a small tv-serie about tropical insects and arachnids. 11 episodes have been made and will be sent every Sunday, begining in February. The last episode aired 23.05.04. The serie featured known and unknown invertebrates likes scorpions, tarantulas, stick insects, mantids, milipedes, centipedes, cockroaches and more. All animals were filmed in my animal room here in Trondheim.

The show is one of the most popular programs for children in Norway, and the shows hostess (which I co-host the serie with) was nominated as the most popular tv-hostess in Norway in 2003 and 2004. Also, the show was nominated as best TV program for Children in 2003 and 2004.

In additon to the tv-serie, we have also made a HOMEPAGE with a lot of information about the featured animals in the show. This information is in Norwegian only. You can also find a lot of pictures and each episode are freely available in streaming video (see below for direct links). The videos are made available by NRK1 (Norwegian Broadcasting, Channel 1).
