The research activities of the RAMS group can be classified into the following categories:

Basic research is mainly carried out as PhD projects (often in cooperation with other research groups at NTNU), while applied research is carried out as industry projects (often in cooperation with SINTEF)

The RAMS Group has been evaluated by the Research Council of Norway

The RAMS Group has recently be evaluated by an international expert group appointed by the Research Council of Norway. The group was given the grade "Excellent" in all categories. You may read the evaluation report (mainly pp.24-25)
