Focus and Scope

The CHIRONOMUS Newsletter on Chironomidae Research is devoted to all aspects of chironomid research and aims to be an updated news bulletin for the Chironomidae research community. The newsletter is published yearly in October/November, is open access, and can be downloaded free from this website. Research articles for the CHIRONOMUS Newsletter are subject to-peer review. Submission deadline for contributions to the newsletter is July 1.

This section contains reserach articles providing novel knowledge in all areas of chironomidology. All contributions will be peer reviewed by two anonymous experts in the field.

Peer Review Process

Research articles for the CHIRONOMUS Newsletter on Chironomidae Research are subjected to peer-review by two experts in the appropriate field of research.

Contributions for other sections in the newsletter are not subjected to peer-review, but authors may be asked to rewrite the text and/or supply additional figures by the editors.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
