Forskning

Forskningsaktiviteter

Instituttets forskning er knyttet til problemstillinger man finner i norsk og utenlandsk kjemisk prosessindustri. Forskningen er dels av typen grunnleggende teknisk forskning og dels anvendt teknisk forskning. Den grunnleggende forskning gjenspeiles i stor grad i phd-arbeidene, og for tiden har instituttet ca. 85 phd-studenter (Oversikt over tidligere doktorgradsarbeider ved instituttet ). Forskningen drives i stor grad i samarbeid med Norges Forskningsråd, EU, SINTEF, PFI, samt norsk og internasjonal industri og forskningsmiljøer.
